We are dedicated to bringing live music and loving vibrant energy into the lives of our Elders. Whether it's in nursing homes, retirement communities, hospitals, or private homes, we want to give back to our older friends, and help bridge the gaps between the young and the old that are so common in our culture.

Performances can be presented as a duo with Will Taylor on guitar and viola, and Karen Mal, singing, playing guitar and mandolin. We also draw from some of Austin's finest musicians who are a part of the Strings Attached Music family, so we have the resources to fulfill just about any musical wish.

We love this work: it's always fulfilling to play music for an appreciative audience, but beyond that we feel it's important to reach out to older people who may not get much opportunity to hear live music, or maybe even the opportunity to interact with new people. And we just happen to have a passion for the music from the 20's, 30's, and 40's; the music that the elderly most want to hear! To read more, refer to the following pages:
